Giggle Bells

About Giggle Bells

Giggle Bells is a shelf of Christmas jokes for families: jokes, riddles, knock-knocks, songs and printables, all written by hand for this site.

Who writes them

The folks behind Snowglobe Lane, a Christmas street you can walk down online. Giggle Bells is its joke corner: the place to come for something to read out loud at dinner.

How a joke gets on the shelf

Each one is written new, then checked one at a time. It has to be kind (nobody is the butt of it), clean enough for a five-year-old and a grandmother at the same table, and short enough to remember on the way to school. The aim is jokes you have not heard yet.

On Christmas Day, the last door of the Advent calendar opens on the angel's words from Luke 2.

Using them

Print them, read them in class, put them in lunchboxes and cards. If you share one online, a link back to the page is kind and helps other families find it.

Come and walk down the lane

Snowglobe Lane is a whole Christmas street you can walk down online: Advent windows to light, carols to sing, a kitchen with cookies to bake, a workshop with things to color and print, and a quiet chapel at the end of the lane.
